In recent weeks, I've been in a bit of creative rut, so to speak. Oddly enough, I rarely like my knitting projects while they're works-in-progress, but then fall in love with them once I bind off. Am I the only one to experience this?
Anyway, when I managed to finish this (one of three long-standing knitting projects), I felt relieved and excited because the end result is even better than I expected. It weighs practically nothing, and it drapes beautifully, thanks to fingering weight yarn on large needles. As this was knit as a gift for a friend, the excitement comes in waves. Wave one: finishing and blocking it, wave two: seeing the recipient's reaction. Jessica, I hope you enjoy it! :) For more of the nitty-gritty details, see my Ravelry page.
P.S.— Now I kind of want to make one in grey. ;)
