All the earth

The other day, my sister-in-law and I went for a walk on one of the prettiest paths I've ever been on. And all I can think is that the whole earth shouts His praise. The leaves, the seasons, the rolling-green-turned-rolling-gold hills of Wisconsin as we drove home to see my family in Minnesota*—all of it points to a creative Maker, who makes beautiful things.

While in Minnesota, at church, we sang this song (a familiar one) and I remembered how much I liked it, particularly the bridge, containing the line All the earth will should Your praise, our hearts will cry, these bones will sing, Great are You, Lord.

Yes, Lord. The yellows and golds and the crisp morning air, sweet puppy energy, and a baby snuggled under blankets, all of this shouts Your praise, Your goodness.

Great Are You Lord by All Sons and Daughters

You give life, You are love You bring light to the darkness You give hope, You restore Every heart that is broken Great are You, Lord It's Your breath in our lungs So we pour out our praise We pour out our praise It's Your breath in our lungs So we pour out our praise to You only It's Your breath in our lungs So we pour out our praise We pour out our praise It's Your breath in our lungs So we pour out our praise to You only And all the earth will shout Your praise Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing Great are You, Lord And all the earth will shout Your praise Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing Great are You, Lord And all the earth will shout Your praise Our hearts will cry, these bones will sing Great are You, Lord

*Our suitcases are unpacked, dishwasher (clean) emptied, and laundry started. I will sort through the photos I took and write a post about our trip very soon. :)
