A Mavis hat for Cooper

Are you noticing a trend? This hat pattern is just the cutest and now that I've knit it twice for gifts, I decided (and Nicholas chimed in too) that Cooper needed one as well. It stays on his head, keeps him warm, doesn't fall in his eyes, and looks so darn adorable.

Details:

• Yarn: Plymouth Yarn DK Merino superwash
• Pattern: the hat from the Mavis pattern trio by Oomieknits
• Needles: US size 5, sized down, as is my usual for my loose tension.
• Specifics/modifications: Same notes as the one I knit a few weeks ago. I knit the 6-9 month size and it fits Cooper perfectly. My ravelry page for this project can be found here.

I captured a few of these photos before I sewed on the button, but they were too cute not to include. ;)  I'm thrilled and he seems content when he's wearing it, so that's a success!
