We just went to our first wedding of the season (congratulations, Bryson and Rachel!), and the next few weeks will be filled with many more of the best kinds of celebrations—weddings, birthdays, and get-togethers.
We spent last weekend celebrating Mother's day with his parents. Puppy snuggles are so therapeutic—especially when they want to spend most of the day on someone's lap or in someone's arms. They especially love Nicholas (and I love that).
This picture makes me laugh—I love how all of us managed (accidentally or not) to squeeze into this photo on our way to Grandma and Grandpa DeVries' house.
Friday morning was low-key, since we took the day off for a wedding in the afternoon, so I made a big breakfast—cornbread buttermilk pancakes and farmer's market bacon—so good, with plenty of leftovers to freeze for quick breakfasts.
This weekend, we celebrated the beginning of the wedding week for our dear friends Fleet and Molly. And we've been planning the details of his best man speech! We are so blessed that we get to be a part of so much celebrating (and puppy snuggling).
