Moving week!

We've been counting down the days until we move in various ways—three more days of work,  or one more grocery store trip (might be the weirdest for me). Our free time is a mix of packing/organizing/sorting/boxing and setting aside time to spend with family and close friends.  This moving process is a bittersweet one—I mentioned it before here—one we're trying to navigate both logistically and emotionally.

July is a big month around here!

My mom sent me this verse, which is rather fitting, since we've donated or given away a large amount of our possessions. It's easier to part with items we really don't need, when I turn my mind to this:

And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions. ” Luke 12.15

Lord-willing, we'll be moving into our new home next Monday(!)

P.S.- We spent a brief, but wonderful time in Columbus, OH with family this weekend. The zoo was great! But I also ate some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Please try Jeni's (they have several locations). We tried Askinosie Dark Milk Chocolate, Browned Butter Almond Brittle, and Saison with Sunflower Seeds and Golden Flax. Typically, I'm not a huge ice cream fan (too many giant bowls of mint chocolate chip ice cream as a middle school girl), but this ^^ is incredible. And how darling is the Columbus location?

Hope you're having a blessed week, friends!
